Best Facebook ads agencies for plasterers and renderers

Plasterers get ignored by marketing agencies. The job values look small next to a roof or a kitchen, so the big trades agencies rarely bother. That is a shame, because a rendering job on a semi is £3,000 to £6,000 and a full-house skim is not far behind, and both sell brilliantly from a smooth-wall photo on Facebook. Five agencies that will actually take a plastering account.

Finding agencies that take plasterers seriously

We searched for agencies that name plasterers, plastering or rendering on their own sites. There are fewer than you would hope. The five here either list the trade directly or serve the wider domestic renovation market in a way that clearly includes it.

Then the normal checks: what do they charge, do they say so, what happens to a lead after it lands, and is there any published result. Where an agency is a website builder rather than an ads agency, we say so, because for many plasterers the website is the missing piece before ads make any sense.

A quick reality check on budgets: plasterers do not need a £2,000 a month ad account. The Facebook ads budget guide for trades explains how to size spend to job value.

1. Agass Marketing Solutions

Best for: South West plasterers who want a cheap fixed-price website first and Meta ads quoted after

Agass Marketing Solutions, run by Joseph Agass around Weston-super-Mare, Bristol and Somerset, lists plasterers second on its trade list, between roofers and carpenters. It builds websites for trades with service and area pages, reviews and a quote form, runs Google and Meta paid ads, and does local SEO covering Google Business Profile, on-page work and citations.

The hook is a free website draft within 48 hours, and you only pay if you like it. The site costs £499 one-off (£699 on WordPress), with optional hosting and changes at £30 a month and no contract. You own the site and domain. SEO and ads are quoted separately.

Case studies cover heating and plumbing, fencing, roofline, locksmith and glazing, kitchens and bathrooms and carpentry clients. There is no plastering case study yet. The company shows a Dutch registration on its site.

Verdict: Low-risk, cheap and plasterers are named. The ads piece is bespoke, so ask what a small Meta campaign would cost.

2. Rated Media (Premilead)

Best for: Rendering and external wall firms selling higher-ticket jobs who want booked appointments

Rated Media does not name plasterers, but its remit covers remodelling and other high-ticket home improvement, which brings external rendering and full-house refurbishment plastering into scope. The positioning is growth partner rather than typical agency, with qualified appointments and booked jobs prioritised over lead volume and leads exclusive and never resold.

Paid social lead generation is backed by smart forms, landing pages, AI voice agents, automated booking, AI follow-up and no-show prevention, and post-estimate follow-up. Fees are not published; clients typically spend £1k to £3k-plus a month on ads paid direct to platforms. No case studies are published and testimonials appear generic. Trustpilot reviews exist under the Premilead name.

For a one-man skimmer it is overkill. For a rendering firm quoting £5,000 jobs with a survey visit, the booking automation has a point.

Verdict: Relevant to rendering firms at the higher end. Pricing and proof both need a conversation.

3. Riley Marketing

Best for: Sole-trader and small-team plasterers who want their calls, reviews and quotes sorted on a fixed fee, with ads on top when ready

Plasterers are on Riley Marketing's named trade list, and the fixed-fee system (£149 a month at time of writing) addresses the way plastering firms usually leak work. Missed call text back answers the homeowner who rang while you had a hawk in one hand and a trowel in the other. Google review automation, including reactivating past customers, turns the hundreds of ceilings you have done into a review count that shows it. A CRM with lead status tracking keeps the ten quotes you sent last month visible, and branded custom quote pages on your own domain make a rendering quote look like a professional document rather than a text.

Underneath is an SEO-focused website with service and location pages and Google Business Profile optimisation, so 'plasterer near me' searches have somewhere to land as well as Facebook enquiries. Facebook and Instagram ads, Google Ads and local SEO are add-ons.

The commercial terms are the point for a trade used to being overlooked: the system is built up front before you pay, there is no setup fee, revisions are unlimited and you can cancel any time. It is founder-led by Tom Riley, with ten years in search and lead generation, a spell leading organic growth at an insurtech, and his own lead generation websites behind him.

It sits third because Agass and Rated Media each bring something plastering-specific to the top two spots (a regional cheap site, and rendering-grade booking). For most plasterers the fixed fee with follow-up built in remains the better long-term base. The Riley Marketing and Facebook ads assessment covers the detail.

Verdict: The complete small-firm system on a fixed fee, built before you pay, for a trade that rarely gets this level of attention.

4. ServiceLeads

Best for: Plastering and rendering firms with a working website who want flat-fee Meta management and a guarantee

ServiceLeads, a founder-led Meta specialist in Cornwall working UK-wide, headlines kitchen fitters and also covers roof repair, windows and high-ticket local services. Rendering and whole-house plastering fit the last category.

The offer is a flat £750 a month management fee, ad spend paid direct to Meta, the client owns the ad account, and a 30-day guarantee of a set number of qualified homeowner enquiries or no management fee. The work covers offer and lead-form qualification design, funnel planning, weekly creative testing, tracking and lead-quality feedback, plus white-label fulfilment for other agencies. Case studies are anonymised Meta results with cost-per-lead figures.

At £750 a month before ad spend, the maths only works for a plastering firm doing regular high-value rendering or refurbishment jobs. For a sole trader skimming rooms it is too much management fee for the job size.

Verdict: Clean pricing and a guarantee, but only sensible for plastering firms at the rendering end of the market.

5. Get Work

Best for: Plasterers and renderers who want Google Ads leads through a managed platform instead of Facebook

Get Work, in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, explicitly lists plastering and rendering among its trades. It is a Google Partner whose product is Google Ads lead generation rather than Facebook: a custom landing page per business, text notifications for new leads, a lead management and job booking platform and a spend and job-value dashboard. Leads are described as exclusive, and the agency works with trade associations.

Pricing is on a separate page. The published case study is a roofing company's first-month revenue and ROI. It is last here only because it is a search platform on a Facebook list, not because of quality.

Verdict: The Google alternative. For plasterers, 'plasterer near me' searches are real, so it is a fair comparison point.

What a plasterer should actually do

If you are a sole trader, pick between Agass (if you are in the South West and want the cheapest site) and Riley Marketing (if you want the whole system, including text back and reviews, on a fixed fee anywhere in the UK). Both let you add Meta ads later.

If you run a rendering firm with jobs north of £4,000 and a decent website already, ServiceLeads or Rated Media can run the Meta side properly. Get Work is the search-led alternative for the plasterer who gets most work from 'near me' searches.

And whatever you do, photograph every finished wall in flat daylight. The ad creative guide for trades explains why plasterers have an easier time with visuals than almost any other trade.

Frequently asked questions

Is it worth a plasterer running Facebook ads?

For rendering, external wall insulation, full-house skims and ceiling replacements, yes. The job values support a small budget and the finished work photographs well. Single-room patch jobs rarely justify it.

What should a plasterer budget for ads?

As a worked example, £10 to £15 a day, roughly £300 to £450 a month, aimed at a tight local radius, is enough to test a rendering or skimming offer before committing more.

Which agencies explicitly list plasterers?

Agass Marketing Solutions, Riley Marketing and Get Work name plasterers or plastering and rendering. Rated Media and ServiceLeads cover high-ticket home improvement more generally.

Do I need a website before advertising plastering on Facebook?

Meta instant forms work without one, but a site showing your finished walls and reviews converts better and allows retargeting. Agass and Riley Marketing both include site builds.
